Learn to drive a Boat in Sydney Harbour!

Rose Bay is an eastern suburb in Sydney with close proximity to the CBD. It boasts incredible views of both the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the West of Rose Bay.

Rose Bay has a ferry wharf that connects the north of Sydney and the CBD. Rose Bay is also the home of the Sydney Seaplanes that offer an incredible experience to view the city from the air.

Get a boat or Jet Ski licence in Rose Bay. This location is great for anyone living in the Eastern suburbs such as Vaucluse, Bondi, Coogee, Double Bay, Randwick, Potts Point as well as the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Parking is limited at the Rose Bay West boat ramp. Please ensure you park at designated car spots and not in a car and trailer bay. Whilst parking is free for all patrons, be sure you are aware of the time limits in the parking space you use as they vary between 15 minutes and 4 hours. We recommend you park at the Woollahra sailing club and walk 3 minutes to the boat ramp.

We will be meeting at Rose Bay West Boat ramp. Make your way down to the wharf to meet our EZ Boating trainer. The Wharf is situated across the Jezve Cafe. You will see us launching the vessel or waiting at the wharf ready for your practical class.

Public bathrooms are available at the Jesse Cafe near the boat ramp. You may arrive early to your course and enjoy a cuppa or a coffee at the cafe as you enjoy the picturesque view of rose bay.

You will have plenty of free parking on site near the tennis courts. Alternatively there is also street parking outside the venue. Be sure to park in bays that offer more than 4 hours of parking. We recommend you park here for the full day as it is easy to walk to the practical location situated only 3 minutes away.

We’ll meet you inside the Woollahra Sailing Club. We are normally situated in the function room in the top floor of the building. In the odd occasion, we may be moved into the board room to accomodate for other activities in the club.

There are no on-site restaurants for your lunch break. However there are multiple nearby cafes to chose from to get yourself a meal. Bathrooms are situated on the ground floor of the building.
